This Privacy Policy describes how EazzyTrip ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our EazzyTrip Rider and EazzyTrip Driver mobile applications and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

3. Location Data

Our Rider and Driver apps access LOCATION data after you grant device permission. We use location data to set pickup and drop-off points, show nearby drivers, estimate fares, navigate trips, track ride progress, support safety features, prevent fraud, and complete dispatch and customer support workflows.

Location data may be shared with riders, drivers, dispatchers, Google Maps or other map providers, cloud infrastructure providers, customer support staff, and law enforcement when required by law or needed for safety. We do not use location data for third-party advertising.

You may revoke location permissions in your device settings at any time. Doing so will prevent core features (booking, navigation, dispatch) from functioning. We do not sell location data.

5. Camera & Photo Access

The EazzyTrip Driver app requests camera access to allow drivers to upload profile photos, vehicle documents, and incident photos during the registration and verification process. The EazzyTrip Rider app requests camera access for profile photo upload. We do not access your camera in the background and never record video without your knowledge.

6. Contacts & Phone Call Access

6.1 Contacts (Rider app)

The EazzyTrip Rider app requests optional access to your device contacts so you can add emergency contacts who may track your live trip for safety, and to quickly share your trip status with friends or family. We do not upload your contact list to our servers. Emergency contact names and numbers are stored locally on your device and only transmitted when you explicitly activate trip sharing.

6.2 Phone Calls (both apps)

Both the Rider and Driver apps request the CALL_PHONE permission on Android so that you can call the other party directly from within the app with a single tap. This permission is used only when you explicitly initiate a call. No call logs or recordings are stored by our apps.

7. Push Notifications

We send push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) for ride status updates, driver arrival, payment confirmations, and safety alerts. You may disable notifications in your device settings, though this may affect your ability to receive real-time trip updates. Promotional notifications are opt-in only.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted credential storage on device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), and role-based access controls on our servers. Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant payment partners. While we strive to protect your information, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Trip records are retained for a minimum of 3 years to comply with applicable tax and regulatory requirements. After account deletion, we may retain anonymised aggregate data and records required by law. You may request account deletion by contacting us at privacy@easykount.com.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us personal data, we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-Party Services

Our apps integrate third-party services with their own privacy policies, including Google Maps, Firebase, Cashfree, Razorpay, and Sentry. We encourage you to review their respective policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
